Congratulations Firefox!
The most popular open-source web browser "Firefox" crossed the 500 million downloads. The Firefox was originally named Phoenix and the 1.0 version was released in November 2004. In September 2007 Firefox crossed 400 million mark and today it reached the milestone. Users will soon get the latest version 3.0 of Firefox.
To celebrate this milestone, Mozilla is inviting people to play a game over at freerice.com to help donate rice to those in need. They said,
